Prof. Mugendi K. M’Ritha, Deputy Vice-Chancelor for Administration, Planning, and Finance at Machakos University, Kenya, is a transdisciplinary industrial designer, educator, researcher, and consultant. He Weaving Afrikan Design Narratives specializes in socialy conscious design, including human-centered design, sustainability, indigenous knowledge systems, and universal design. He holds the UNESCO Chair on Cloud Computing for Sustainable Development and is a founding member of the Pan-Afrikan Design Institute. Prof. M’Rithaa has held leadership roles in global design organizations such as the World Design Organization (WDO), Open Design Afrika, and Nairobi Design Week, making significant contributions to design education, research, and social innovation
worldwide.
