Saudah Namyalo
Dr. Saudah Namyalo is a senior lecturer in African languages in the School of Languages, Literature and Communication at Makerere University. She holds a PhD in Linguistics and postgraduate training in translation and interpretation. She has won many awards from reputable organisations such as the Rockefeller Foundation, DAAD, Carnegie Corporation of New York, the American Council of Learned Societies, Endangered Languages Fund, CAPREx, Endangered Languages Documentation Program and Volkswagen. Dr. Namyalo has authored or co-authored numerous scholarly articles and book chapters published in reputable journals and books in the field of Linguistics and African Languages.
